About the Sales Manager role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales Manager to join our sales team in Malaysia. This role shall be based out of Kuala Lumpur and will focus on expanding and managing key Mid-Market accounts (500 -2500 sized companies) for the Learning Management System (LMS) and Learning Experience platform (LXP) offerings of Disprz.
You will be responsible for driving new business development, nurturing relationships with HR leaders, and adding value to our revenue plans. The Sales manager shall work on Mid-Market expansion plans for Disprz in the Malaysia market.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in selling Learning, talent management, HRMS solutions or SaaS solutions with proven expertise in new business development, account management, partnerships and working with cross functional teams within Disprz.
Key Responsibilities:
New business development:
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan working closely with Outbound, Marketing and Partnership teams to drive revenue growth for Disprz LMS and LXP offerings.
Partnership Development:
Establish and cultivate strong partnerships with other organizations in HR tech and Learning space to secure partnership business.
Relationship Building with CHROs and L&D Heads:
Grow network within the market to build and maintain relationships with Chief Human Resources Officers (CHROs), other senior HR leaders and L&D heads cum Managers.
Sales Forecasting & Reporting:
Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting, tracking sales activity, pipeline health, and revenue performance to meet and exceed targets.
Negotiation & Contract Management:
Lead the negotiation process for new deals and renewals, ensuring favourable contract terms and long-term partnerships.
Account Management:
Working with Outbound, Marketing and Customer Success teams to understand, build relationships and manage a portfolio of targeted identified accounts. This will form part of overall job responsibility to close new business and upsell/ cross sell over existing accounts.
Market Intelligence:
Stay up-to-date on trends in the LMS - LXP and SaaS HR Tech space within Malaysia and SE Asia. Understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry requirements cum innovations.
Product Understanding and working with Pre-sales:
The candidate must have skills to learn and demonstrate the Disprz LMS - LXP offerings independently to customers as part of first and second level meetings and in future work with the local Pre-sales team on RFP’s, workshops and other sales related activities.
Qualifications:
Experience:
3+ years of experience in enterprise-level cum mid-market sales with a proven track record of success in the HR tech or SaaS related technology sectors.
Additional Skills & Expertise:
Deep knowledge of the Malaysian market, including local industry trends, customer needs, and competitor landscape.
Strong network with CHROs, Senior HR leaders and L&D heads in the Malaysian market.
Proven ability to build and manage relationships with high-level decision-makers.
Expertise in sales process management, negotiation, and closing deals.
Language Proficiency:
Fluency in English and Malay is required.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
