Job Title: PMO Analyst / PMO Lead (SaaS Engineering)
Role Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented PMO professional to support multiple SaaS product engineering teams. This role will act as the operational backbone of engineering execution—ensuring structured tracking, governance, and visibility across workstreams. The PMO will serve as a gatekeeper for Jira hygiene, facilitate cross-team coordination, and provide timely reporting to engineering leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. Jira Governance & Work Item Management
- Act as the gatekeeper for Jira across multiple engineering teams
- Ensure all work items (epics, stories, bugs, tasks) are:
- Properly created, prioritized, and maintained
- Aligned with sprint/release goals
- Enforce Jira hygiene standards (naming conventions, statuses, completeness, traceability)
- Audit boards regularly to ensure accuracy and consistency
2. Execution Tracking & Reporting
- Track daily progress of engineering workstreams across teams
- Identify risks, blockers, and delays proactively
- Publish:
- Daily status updates to Engineering Managers
- Weekly summary reports to leadership (progress, risks, KPIs, delivery health)
- Maintain dashboards and metrics (velocity, burn-down, defect trends, SLA adherence)
3. Cross-Team Dependency Management
- Identify and track cross-team dependencies across product, engineering, QA, and DevOps
- Facilitate coordination to ensure dependencies are resolved on time
- Escalate risks and conflicts to stakeholders when needed
4. Bug Triage & Quality Coordination
- Organize and run regular bug triage meetings
- Work closely with QA and engineering teams to:
- Prioritize defects
- Ensure timely resolution
- Track defect leakage and quality metrics
- Ensure production issues are logged, tracked, and communicated effectively
5. DevOps & Release Coordination
- Coordinate with DevOps teams on:
- Release schedules
- Deployment readiness
- Environment availability
- Track release milestones and ensure alignment across teams
- Support release governance and readiness reviews
6. Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as a central point of communication between:
- Engineering teams
- QA
- DevOps
- Product stakeholders
- Provide structured updates tailored to different audiences
- Ensure transparency in execution status and risks
Required Skills & Qualifications
Core Skills
- Strong experience with Jira and Agile tools
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience
- 3–8 years of experience in PMO / Project Coordination / Program Management roles
- Experience working with SaaS product engineering teams
- Exposure to DevOps and QA processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with tools like Confluence, dashboards, and reporting tools
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release management
